For small organisations such as our own, conference attendance plays an important part in moving the work of the organisation forward. It is a chance to connect with peers from across the country and across the range of work in our sector. Thirty years on from the beginning of the HIV epidemic , changes in treatments, prevention tools and the complex responses required for reducing HIV transmissions means that maintaining the partnership of community, researchers, clinicians and government is as important as ever.
We hope you are enjoying the start of autumn, and are taking the time to notice the changing colours around us. We have had a busy start for the first part of the year, and have a lot going on over the next few months.
Starting in May Marcus will be taking a month’s leave. He’ll be away from Monday the 9th and returns on Monday the 6th June. Pauline will also be taking leave from Thursday the 19th of May through to the 1st of June. While Marcus and Pauline are away, please direct any questions you may have to Sue Webeck.
