Vale Andrew McLeod

On behalf of the Board and staff of the AIDS Action Council, we wish to send our heartfelt condolences to family and friends of Andrew Mcleod who sadly passed away on Saturday 16 July.

Andrew was a long serving and valued member of staff. Andrew tirelessly worked to ensure the smooth operation of the Council and passionately believed it was essential for people living with HIV to be central to the community response to HIV and the work of the Council.

Andrew was also keenly involved in the community where he shared his love for culture and the arts. His loss will be deeply felt by many people in community and at the Council.

Details of funeral arrangements will be available in the Canberra Times in coming days.

If you are touched by Andrew’s loss and need support, the Council offers free counselling which can be arranged by calling 02 6257 2855 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
