Dr Alex Wodak will be guest speaker at this year’s AIDS Action Council Annual General Meeting.
The Council works to ensure people living with HIV and AIDS have input into the creation, development, and implementation of services and policies within the organisation, as well as advocating and lobbying for change within the broader community. This is achieved through the generous patronage of members of the organisation. This enables the organisation to work with people living with HIV and AIDS, support community events, stay informed and educated and work together to address stigma and discrimination.
Membership entitles you to vote at the General Meetings. Although you can join at any time, to be an active ‘voting’ member, you need to apply or renew your membership at least 30 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
AGM Date: Wednesday 16 November starting at 5.30pm.
Venue: Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly Reception Room
