Dr Alex Wodak will be guest speaker at this year’s AIDS Action Council Annual General Meeting.

Dr Alex Wodak AM was the Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, from 1982 to 2012. Dr. Wodak is President of the Australian Drug Law Reform Foundation and was President of the International Harm Reduction Association (1996-2004). He helped establish the first needle syringe programme and first medically supervised injecting centre in Australia when both were pre-legal. After he retired in 2012, Dr Wodak made drug law reform in Australia and beyond his retirement project.

PrEP: A little blue pill in the toolbox
