SpringOut Fairday 2006

SpringOut Fairday is Canberra's GLBTI community day. Come and find out what community groups are out there, and what they're up to. Enjoy the performances and enter your pet in the pet parade! Grab a few gifts and something to eat!

Date: 10 am to 3pm Saturday 11 November, 2006.

Venue: Westlund House (map), Gordon Street, Acton.

SpringOut Fairday is an event of the SpringOut festival, held throughout November.

Pet parade

The ever popular SpringOut Pet Parade will again be one of the main features of Fairday celebrations. Bring your pets to strut their stuff in front of an admiring audience!

This year's parade will recognise the prettiest pet, the handsomest pet and the most outrageous pet. There will also be a special prize to the pet owner who looks most like his/her pet.

The parade will be hosted by Heather Gaskell, owner/host of La Perouse Bed & Breakfast.

Registration for the pet parade will open at 11.30am. Judging will take place at approximately 1.45pm.
